Measuring Impact
:

We measure impact through a blend of quantitative and qualitative indicators designed to capture learning outcomes, behavioural change, and organisational value. Each Ocean Literacy Project partnership includes a clear impact framework aligned with funder and corporate reporting needs.

Our evaluation methods combine:

Pre- and post-learning surveys to assess shifts in Ocean knowledge, systems thinking, and personal agency.

Behavioural tracking to document how participants translate learning into tangible actions, such as changes in procurement, packaging, community engagement, or restoration activity.

Corporate ESG metrics to align training outcomes with sustainability reporting frameworks, including TNFD, CSRD, SDG 14, and internal performance indicators.

Qualitative storytelling and case studies to evidence cultural shifts, mindset change, and community impact.

This integrated approach ensures that partners and funders can evidence meaningful change, from improved employee engagement and environmental literacy to measurable progress on ESG and nature-positive goals.
